The 2007 Guns & Hoses Softball Tournament was held on Sunday September 23, 2007 at the Marthasville Community Club Sports Complex. This is an annual event where the various emergency service groups within Warren County compete for the first place trophy and bragging rights. All proceeds from the event go towards the Concerned Citizens for Animal Control organization. The Warrenton Fire Department won first place, Warren County Sheriff’s Department placed second, Wright City Fire placed third, and the Marthasville Fire Department placed fourth. While all participants played hard and heckled the other players hoping to bring the trophy back to their respected departments, at the end of the day it was all about having fun at a social event with other emergency service personnel.
